LA Compost is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Pasadena Public Works Department to manage eight community compost hubs in neighborhood parks across the City of Pasadena. Each location is an opportunity to drop off your food scraps, volunteer for a work day, and create healthy soils right here at home.

Come see us at Brookside Park (next to the entrance to Kidspace) on 9/19 between 10 AM and 12 PM to learn more about how to get involved! Our team will be on site to answer questions, get you registered for one of eight Compost Hubs, and show you how to drop off your food scraps.⁠

Plus, get a free countertop compost pail, courtesy of the City of Pasadena (while supplies last) and take part in fun educational compost activities with our friends at FoodEd!
