This online training session will be led by LA Compost’s Volunteer Program team members. The orientation will educate and inspire potential volunteers while fostering a deeper understanding of LA Compost’s mission and operations.

EACH SESSION WILL:

• Introduce new volunteers to LA Compost’s opportunities and programs. Guide navigating the Mobilize sign-up platform.

• Include Compost 101 training to share foundational knowledge of community composting.

• Offer a quick overview of tool safety to ensure safe and effective volunteer participation.

• Highlight the WHY behind volunteering and its impact.

Each orientation will feature Compost 101 training and a spotlight on an LA Compost staff member who will introduce a Community Compost Hub where you can volunteer. We hope you join us!
