Soil for All: Compost Distributions invite community members to pick up compost directly from the compost hub where it is created. Bring your own container(s) to fill with nutrient-dense finished compost created by the community for the community! Compost is available while supplies last.
What else you should know: Please bring your own container(s) to fill with finished compost. You will be sifting compost outside with varying levels of shade. If you are not able to physically sift your own compost, please let our staff onsite know.
No prior composting experience is necessary.
Site Directions: The entrance is located at these map coordinates within the park 34°08'04.1"N 118°17'08.7"W. You can copy and paste these into any GPS system. You may also route to "Merry Go Round Lot 2", park there, and walk west, away from the playground towards a white metal vehicle gate, which marks the site entrance. Parking: The closest parking lot to the site entrance is Merry Go Round Lot Two. If there is no capacity in that lot, look for other public parking spaces within the park.
