Come celebrate the power of community composting and the people who make it happen across Los Angeles!

We’re hosting a special gathering at our Griffith Park Compost Hub to honor volunteers, neighbors, and community members who help bring compost to life. You don’t need to be a current volunteer to join us. Past volunteers, future volunteers, and anyone curious about composting are all welcome.

Come meet our team and connect with others who care about compost, soil, and sustainability. Have fun with activities like compost bingo, bracelet-making, and a clothing swap. Enjoy light refreshments, music, and a relaxed space to chat and unwind. You’ll also get a chance to check out the Griffith Park Compost Hub and see how thousands of pounds of food scraps are transformed each week.

As a small thank-you, we’ll be sharing bags of finished compost and other sustainable goodies while supplies last.
