Transportation

We encourage walking, biking, carpooling, or taking public transit to the event if possible. The Fremont Wellness Center and Community Garden can be accessed via:

  • Metro Bus: 51, 10, 48, 111

    • The 51 Metro Bus stop on Avalon is a short 2-minute walk to the main entrance on 79th St.

  • Metro A, C, K Line

  • Metro Rail-to-Rail Bike Path via Slauson Ave.

Parking

Event parking is available nearby at John Hope Continuation School, located near Towne Ave. and 79th St. The parking lot is adjacent to the Fremont Wellness Center & Community Garden and a short 2-minute walk to the event entrance.

Alternatively, there is free street parking available in the surrounding neighborhood. We recommend allowing 5–15 minutes to find parking and walk to the event.

Check-In & Entrance

The entrance to the Fremont Wellness Center and Community Garden is through the Umma Clinic parking lot. Look for the open gate on 79th Street near Avalon Blvd (pictured below). Our team will be at the entrance, and signs will guide you to the right location.

Please note: the parking lot at the entrance is closed to event attendees and reserved for Umma Clinic visitors.

When you arrive, check in with our team at the registration table before making your way to the event.
